It has been a few years since my husband and I have been to Tropikis. We used to really enjoy the Roti and service. We went today and ordered 1 beef and 1 chicken Roti so we could share. We were asked how spicy we wanted it and we said none ... (we know it is added during the construction of it). Not only was it cold but was full of pepper!! We could not even enjoy our $45 worth of Roti. I could have been upset with the little amount of meat or the lack of a side. But no, instead it became inedible. We sadly will never return again. The food is great. There are no words to describe it. The lady, possibly the owner, was exceptionally friendly and proud of the dishes prepared by the restaurant chef. However, they need better plates and cutlery to match their high-quality food. Paper plates? Please, that's unacceptable.

Amazing rotis, love the wraps, very filling! We tried the goat, the elk and the chicken. Each protein is spiced an flavoured distinctly to match and enhance the meat. This place has been around for many years and has a loyal following.

The salad is fantastic - bright with lots of interesting fruits. The food is warm and rich, but the service is often slow. The server will definitely try to talk you into ordering more food/drinks than you intended to.
