I liked this place. It was not super busy when I visited but still quite a few folks. The staff were very nice and the food was good. The decor was kinda neat. I really enjoyed myself, I tried an affordable beer, I thought my portion was fairly generous, and the taste was good. That said, our server looked a little overwhelmed, and he completely forgot to order the meal my wife put in. He also poked a little fun at her for ordering ... chicken fingers when there were more adult options on the menu. Personally, I didn't mind the friendly jab, but after her waiting 15 minutes for a special coffee she had ordered, she wasn't nearly as receptive as I. Nice place with tasty food. But the waiter was really slow while serving (even despite the fact there were only 2 tables occupied), there was no cider and they did not have ingrediends for tropical cocktail. The Saddlery is one of my go-to spots whenever I'm downtown and looking for a bite to eat. The restaurant is very spacious and has a great atmosphere. The brussel sprouts are fantastic, probably my favourite in the city (so far)! You also cannot go wrong with those bison nachos. We have had the pleasure to work with this venue a few times. The atmosphere is incredible and very warm. Set-up was easy as we were able to use the back door elevator. Staff was super helpful and friendly!! We have always set/up behind the curtain and love that it allows ... us to do some last minute tweaking before we start.
