Went for dinner, had the rack of lamb. With cream of garlic soup. Everything was wonderful. From the service, to the excellent food. You were made to feel welcome, and appreciated for being there.

Dined for lunch here and the portions were small but the quality of food was excellent. To my pleasant surprise the price of the meal was about half of what I would expect elsewhere. I will definitely return!

First time here.. All restaurants should take a page out of their book.. Fine dining at its best.. Superb service.. exquisite presentation..a feast for the eyes.. You have the table for the evening...a refreshing change to not feel forced out of a restaurant for the next seating. All servers etc made u feel that they ... were happy to see u..that u were their priority.. Good sized portions..well balanced The curry squash and parsnip soup was amazing. March 2023 Every college that has a culinary program usually has a restaurant such as Jane's. We were not disappointed. We were on a Canadian vacation, so we booked a lunch reservation in advance. Set in a beautiful renovated historical bank building, the dining experience is stunning and impressive. A large menu and ... drink selection. Everything we had was delicious. The bread basket consisted of six breads and three flavoured butters, all made in-house. Yum yum yum! This is a teaching restaurant so that the students get experience. All of the staff (students) were quite good, and I didn't notice any nervousness or things to criticize during our time here. Check their website for reservations as days and times are limited. Apparently, if you want to eat dinner here, you need to reserve a table at least three weeks in advance. So for a great dining experience, come here to support the students and you will also get some delicious food to eat! Read more

Fantastic experience. Felt transported out of Winnipeg and into a fine dining meal anywhere in the world. Local ingredients, student run restaurant with attentive service and delicious food. Highly recommend. From the amuse bouche to the sweets with the bill, nothing was missed!
