Stella’s Osborne - Winnipeg, Manitoba

I enjoy coming to eat-in at this specific location on weekends with my fiancé. We both agree, one of the best places for breakfast. The Mexican breakfast with chorizo sausage is my favourite item on the menu with a cup of their house made lemonade!

As I’ve said in previous posts, Stella’s is pretty much a staple in Winnipeg. The menu items are consistent across locations – the house salad is amazing (the dressing is phenomenal), they have good sandwiches, breakfasts (e.g., Mexican breakfast), and the Garden Burger, Dragon Bowl and Tourtiere are underrated options... ... Definitely worth a try. They make a mean flourless chocolate torte, bread pudding and cheesecake (with a slight lemony flavour). The location is interesting – a proper restaurant area with tables strewn in the hallways between the health food store and radio station. But it works. Service has always been really good here. Great menu, especially for vegetarian and vegan options, with breakfast available all-day. The house-made breads, and the vegetarian breakfast patties are the best, as is their jam. This location is very lively and a little bit loud, but not so bad you can't have a decent conversation. Me and my girlfriend went there after hot yoga on Friday night. It's located 5 min from Moksha on Donald. We got there 730pmish. They weren't too busy and we got a table right away. I ordered a chicken sandwich with house salad on side and ... she got the dragon ball added chicken as extra. My sandwich was fine. I really liked their house salad. It had lettuce, daikon, carrot, sunflower seeds, onions and the vinegar dressing was refreshing. I prefer this over the ceasar salad which I usual go to as more healthy alternative. Her dragon ball was amazing. There were quinoa, rice, peas, cucamber, carrot, bell pepper, cabbege and it tasted like spicy sweet sour soysourcey. Simply put, it was so tasty and health. She ordered a vegan chocolate cake as dessert....and it was like a tower... you don't believe how big it was... It was even bigger than a cake from backed expectation across the street. Best breakfast in town, my whole family eats there regularly. I have tried many different menu items and loved everything.
