Great books. Great coffee but limited food selection due to ignorant City of Winnipeg rules. Wonderful staff and owner who are friendly and knowledgeable. Cozy outdoor patio.
I really like this place. It had a warm atmosphere. The coffee is great, the staff is friendly and they have a lot of neat books to read. I would definitely recommend it for the social introvert.

The owner's great, on hand and one of the most knowledgeable book worms in the city. The nosh is unique, the coffee great, and so is the tea. All books are in primo condition, AND they have a basement full of books (closed to the public) so be sure to ... ask if you don't see what you're looking for on the main floor.
