Great place to hang out! The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are perfect for sharing. Great selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I really enjoy the vibe here.

What a great place! They are open until pretty late (as compared to other places around), the coffee and other drinks are delicious (tried the recent addition - the eggnog and it was also great), the food is always fresh and delicious (tried a couple of sweet and savory options), ... there is also popcorn and other snacks available as the place offers hundreds of board games to play (for just 10 cad per adult). It sometimes may get a bit noisy, though (because of players). Other than that, it's a really good place for a date, friends meeting or a family gathering. We reserved a table through their online booking system. Once we arrived, we were promptly seated! It’s been awhile since I’ve been at Across The Board. This time around I went for the board games so I can’t say anything about the food! Overall a really great place for friends and family! ... Loads of board games and staff is pretty knowledgeable and can help you figure out board games and all. Took my husband and kids (ages 7,10 and 12) for the first time. 3 hours flew by. The kids loved the cheese pull from the pizza. I had such an awesome time at Across the Board cafe! They've got an insane collection of over 2,000 board games. I spent the entire evening there with my friends, trying out all sorts of games. The staff was super helpful, suggesting games that matched our tastes perfectly. Not only ... that, the staff even got in on the action by assisting us when we weren't sure who the game winner was. It made the entire experience much more enjoyable. If there are only two of you, it's still a blast. Of course, the more the better. Everyone can find something there. Oh, and their masala chai is to die for! You can even ask for refills, and they're free! And let's not forget the popcorn – the perfect snack while you're deep into your games.
