Amazing food. We had the bison short rib and the cranberry chicken burger with side Feast salad. Everything was perfection. It was our first time here and The ambiance, music, and decor were great, set in a cool old building with tin ceiling and exposed brick. The server ... was super friendly and attentive. I am a newcomer to Canada. This restaurant was recommended to me through some new friends and it certainly did not disappoint. I came in during lunch (did not know that they accept reservations) but she was able to seat me anyhow with being as busy as they were. I ... ordered a Bison Burger on bannock and the soup which was recommended to me by the server. Food was absolutely amazing! *****+ I didn’t think I would like the bbq sauce but it made it that much better. I had to be seating in a little corner with a few other tables but I didn’t mind. My server was nice, polite and answered all my questions. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but she had beautiful earrings and black glasses. She came to check on me and refill my drink several times even though she had about 10 other tables by herself. Well done to that young lady, not sure if she is the owner but she sure worked like she was. *****+ I will 100% be coming back next time with friends that recommend this place just to repay them for the suggestion. Really great experience. Food quality really shined. Had the Feast pizza, salad and creme brulee. Also tried the Ramen bowl. The Pizza was really good, with high quality ingredients--real proper cheese (not that cheap Suputo oil based cheese) The sweet note in the sauce bliss pointed the pizza. The only ... miss for me was the Bannok crust-it's a great idea but it got soggy and didn't quite make it in terms of great pizza crust flavor-it was like a harm reduction crust. The opposite is Boston Pizza crust, it has a great bite and a wonderful butter-pan flavor------but it is greasy/indulgent. If the Bannok crust had some oil--i.e olive oil put on to it, i wonder if that would help keep it from absorbing the sauce moisture. I loved the cook on the pizza-proper milliard browning on the cheese and toppings. Ramen bowl was a knock-out on flavors and noodle consistency. Went for lunch while in the city and everything was phenomenal. I had the bison Reuben sandwich and loved the smokey flavour on the meat. Amazing experience at Feast. Service was quick and helpful with touring the new menu. Cozy atmosphere with lots of lovely indigenous art on the walls. Food was outstanding, the chicken tipi skewers were perfectly cooked and the fry bread was out of this world. The Ramen was also delicious as ... was the bison chili.
