A great place to play vlt's

The one security guard says sure you can go use the cash machine. Then the other security guard tries to give me the business for using it. Ok? I was going to chill but hey if you don't want to take my money I gladly went elsewhere. This is gross ... borderline homeless person bar. So if you don't even offer the basics (beer, food) without crying about it, then this bar literally offers nothing. No reason to go here. Read more

Good place for a drink. Friendly staff. Just alotta strange folks outside. Better than the balmoral by a long shot

Went here recently for first time - was skeptical but heard good things about their breakfast so tried it out. Clean with very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Had the basic breakfast which was really good with very generous portions (couldn't even finish!) and it was ready really fast. It ... wasn't very busy when we went - so not sure if its always that fast. The building has a bit of a rough reputation but would highly recommend it for breakfast and lunch at least - its definitely worth a shot for anyone living or working downtown. Read more

The restaurant and bar has recently gone through a major upgrade. New tv’s throughout and new paint. It is still rustic and during the day has an interesting mix of people who live and work downtown. My review is based on visit today during lunch. Excellent food for the price. I ... personally wouldn’t go here in the evening but have never seen any issues during the day when I have visited.
