Back at the Ranch - Winnipeg, Manitoba

I've been coming here for years for their pizza which is always very good. This last visit has me second guessing coming back. I ordered one of their specialty pizzas and asked to substitute salami for pepperoni. I was charged for extra toppings which I don't agree with but fine. I also ... got the chicken strips and regretted it. These are the worst I ever had in my life. I would be embarassed to serve these to guests in my home, let alone charge $11 for them. Very small. Very bland. Mostly air. You could find better strips in the freezer aisle at the grocery store down the street. These should not be on the menu. These should not be served to paying customers. Ordered pizza and wings for dinner but unfortunately, it was little bit of a disappointment. Not sure what it is with the crust, but it felt more like a tortilla, dry and flaky. As if the dough wasn't prepared right. The amount of toppings were low, and it looked sad. ... Had a better looking pizza at a chained restaurant. Same goes to the wings. Dry and weren't pleasant. Pizza was good but there's something wrong with the crust or you're using the wrong paper between the box & pizza. I practically destroyed the pizza trying to remove the paper that was fused under the pizza. Tried with a knife and that worked on most but other slices, I ... had to flip the pie upside down to remove. That destroyed those slices. Other than that, tasted good. Read more

Disappointed in receiving a thin crust pizza instead of the regular crust I requested. They were tasty however, but I am never a fan of thin crust pizza, especially since I specifically requested regular crust. Unfortunately it was close to closing time, so I couldn't return them, but ... I'll be bringing the extra pizza tomorrow morning to see if this is normal, if so, it'll be the last time I order here, if not, I'm hoping they will make it right.
