The food was really pretty good, the beer selection was great. The place feels a bit grungy and the two old drunk blokes were not the best advert. Service staff were very good for a bar.

The Toad is a laid back vibe for the more mature crowd. I enjoyed an old fashioned this time around. I have gotten a burger before and I have been satisfied.

Yeah the hype is real, a perfect whiskey sour(well about 3 😁) and a lovely poutine. The staff are quick and friendly, great people at the bar, well put together layout. Clean, interesting, good view points for the band if you are actively listening to the live music. Nice local pub. My friend had the smoked meat sandwich which he loved. My burger, however, was the opposite - small and overcooked to the point of being burnt. The fries were great. The service was excellent

We love the whiskey sour and the chicken fingers here. Their specialty, Toad In the Hole is delicious! The sausage inside the Yorkshire pudding is very tasty. My fiancé enjoys their whiskey bar. It's definitely a good way to try different bottles without needing to commit to a whole bottle. The ... man behind the bar is so friendly and is very helpful when it comes to suggesting new things. It's a great experience every time. The environment is fun. If you're not for super load places, maybe go in the afternoon or earlier in the evening on weekdays.
