The drinks are good, the pricing is good, the food is tasty but the standards for quality aren't always there -- the last veggie burger I got from there I pulled a full length hair out of it and it was the same dyed colour as the waiting staff. It ... was revolting, since it was mixed in the burger deeply and hadn't simply fallen onto my food. I understand this kind of thing can happen and that nobody wants this to ever be their experience but....it's happened more than once and it just says to me that hairnets are being ignored, and if that's the case they're not the only ones, but I wonder what else falls to the wayside for food care. I really do want to enjoy cousins, but the hair in the food a few times is really hard to ignore, and if you're eating veggie or vegan there's not a while bunch to choose from so it kind of cripples my experience from there. Their veggie burger is phenomenal. As a meat eater who decided to give up meat for lent, I was told about this legendary meatless burger. So I came down and it was everything I wanted and more! My only regret is ordering the Caesar salad as they put too much ... dressing on for my liking, and frankly the burger was enough for me anyways. Fort Garry on tap is always a plus too! This place a small hole in the wall feel, but they have a great space, have been there for as long as I can remember, and actually offer amazing food.
