My husband and I used to order from here a lot but the last few times our food hasn’t been very good. We normally love the Caesar salad. A few months ago the lettuce in our salad was completely red and brown, not one piece was green. I don’t understand ... how someone can prepare it and think that’s okay?? We complained at the time and they were very good about it and we got a replacement salad the next time we ordered. However, their cooks clearly did not learn from this and we got another brown salad this past weekend. The fries I got were completely overcooked and the few that weren’t burnt tasted awful. Going for a cruise you may want to wander on over to The Boot Tavern just on the outskirts of the fishing town of Selkirk in East Selkirk. The mural on outside is a good indicator of the good vibes inside. Artwork of the sexy boots displayed on the ... doors to fishing huts along the water line gives a good example they are a part of community supporting artists 🎨. Art itself can be the musical talent playing while dining. Enjoyed a light plate of battered pickerel with a soothing lip smacking pasta salad which was so refreshing with flavor. There was a musician named Grant playing guitar & harmonica strumming out classic hits on an appreciation day. Had stopped in previously & was informed of events such as Mother's Day Steak & Lobster weekend for $45, & 30 year celebration pickerel special $14. Had stopped in & noticed their Caesar sign glowing okay let's giver a try! BLOWN away was tasteful heaven! So tried the prime rib Minestrone Soup. Very comforting left feeling warm & cosy & not breaking the bank! Have heard they are known for their prime rib dinner, looking forward to a special night out in a rich wood cosy atmosphere. The staff will take care of you with their country style charm, smiling with welcoming hospitality. Looking forward to another visit to relax with a Jeffrey's Greek pizza with a beautiful crust like no other. Stop in, dine in & enjoy food at a reasonable cost, sooo worth it. One of their specials was bat wings, the sauce looked & smelled incredible! They have many selections of sauces to choose from. This is a hidden gem! Warm friendly atmosphere, melt in your mouth Prime Rib the size of your plate for 1/4 of the cost anywhere else ..You will want to tell your peeps about this place! Great Vibes! Bravo!!

I was taken here for my birthday dinner❤️ It was wonderful from start to finish! Rhea was our server - she was fun, fast, knowledgeable & fabulous! Highly recommend. Left already planning to come back soon!

Really didn’t enjoy a single thing we ordered. The potato was burnt and inedible (see pic). The steak wasn’t cooked properly or evenly. They didn’t even remove the cap off the meat. The portions were small in the containers they used so you end up feeling ... like you didn’t get your whole order. The salad was soggy and the romaine was brown. The onion rings were undercooked with the onion still crunchy and the batter uncooked in the inside. Just so totally disappointed in the entire meal. Read more
