Yesterday, my friends and I decided to dine out in Boston, one of our favorite places for its affordability. Upon entering the restaurant, we were met by a host who seemed disinterested, engrossed in his phone and barely acknowledging our presence. After a brief wait, he gestured for us to ... follow and seated us without a greeting. This lackluster reception was quite surprising, especially as a regular patron accustomed to better hospitality. Our server, Megan, appeared to be having a rough day, making mistakes with our orders and displaying a negative attitude. While understanding that everyone has off days, her behavior towards us was unprofessional. She mixed up our drinks, responded rudely to our requests for corrections, and even overcharged us for simple items like ranch dressing. Despite our feedback, she did not rectify the errors and returned with even more attitude. Although we tried to enjoy our meal, the poor service overshadowed our experience. It was disappointing to feel unwelcome and mistreated throughout our visit. The lack of professionalism from both the host and server left us with no intention of returning to this location in the future. Lastly, the restroom conditions were subpar, with scattered paper towels and a messy counter in the girls' washroom. Hygiene standards, including regular bathroom checks, should be improved to ensure a more pleasant dining environment for customers. In conclusion, the unprofessional behavior of the staff and the unsanitary restroom facilities made our dining experience at this particular establishment highly unsatisfactory. Megan was honestly the highlight of our night. We came in with a huge group as we are on a high school mission trip and she welcomed us with open arms. We took a while to figure out our orders and how the all you can eat pizza worked but ... she was completely patient throughout the experience. I made a reservation in advance for the restaurant. When I arrived at this restaurant, Mackenzie quickly served me and took me to the reserved table. The service was very attentive. This is my first time coming to BP. It's a very comfortable dining environment, and the Scott is very patient in introducing and recommending food. I will definitely come again.
