My new favorite new restaurant! High-quality food, and kind servers. Their sushi and tempura are the best in the city. Highly reccomand Mango Prawn, Tuna Tataki, salmon Sashimi and Salmon Aburi!

First time ordering takeout, absolutely delicious!! Mentioned that it was my first time ordering because I heard food was highly rated and was so pleasantly surprised that complimentary tempura and sashimi was added to my order. Great portions and reasonably priced. The gentlemen who took my order and greeted ... me when I came to pick up my food was so nice and friendly as well as two other staff members there. The tempura was excellent, even after driving home the 30 minutes it was still crispy. Also really enjoyed the rolls. Originally, we planned to go to Grant Park for the classic car show, but my son said he was hungry and insisted on having Japanese food. So, we went to a nearby JP restaurant instead. It turned out to be a delightful surprise; the food was excellent, and they even ... offered a delicious salad and seared tuna sushi, which is the best sushi I’ve had in Winnipeg so far. Best sushi in Winnipeg! Delicious food, plentiful servings, we even got complementary edamame and a bonus California Roll because we had to leave and get cash to play for our meal and not a card. Beautiful decor and charming staff, be sure to check out Sushi Ya!
