Food is good but wraps were different than before. It’s “Taco” size now just two pieces. We came here for birthday, unfortunately no special discount for birthday anymore . However, no host/server told us at the beginning when I just entered and mentioned I was here for birthday discount. ... Not crazy busy but our table had zero service at all. Food was delicious, but the restaurant really needs a good cleaning. The floor was really gross looking and the plates had old food stuck to them. But I'm a sucker for mongos, so I'll keep returning.

Just had supper at this location. We usually go to the Kenaston location which is superb, this location is a disappointment. For the second time, my food had a lot of burnt specks in it and tasted burnt. I picked out some of them and put them on the side of ... the bowl so the waitress could easily see them. When I pointed it out she said "Oh yeah, that comes from the grill." She seemed to think it was perfectly fine and normal. I persisted a bit because the last time it happened, the waiter noticed it, got the manager, and they were appalled. They apologized, gave us free dessert and coffee, didn't make me pay for my meal, and gave me a generous gift card for the next visit. She finally said she'd adjust my bill. When the bill came, it was $43.49... for 2 meals and 2 waters. She had taken off a measly $3.15. She didn't talk to the manager, and I have no doubt this will not come up except as a complaint about a customer. We are good customers, we have supported Mongoes for probably 15 years. We drive an hour to enjoy it and are disappointed when it's burnt and the staff doesn't care. I'm posting this so the manager will hopefully see it and some training will be done to teach the staff how to deal with these situations. I don't need a free ride because of a mistake, but it would go a LONG way if you show your customer that you care and will deal with it. Next time we'll go to the Kenaston location. Read more

We had such a great time here! I have a lot of food sensitivities and eat a very specialized diet and this mongos is always so accommodating and cheerful. Restaurants can be stressful for me, but never this mongos grill. I highly recommend it! My kids (3-9 years old) are ... fussy eaters and all found a delicious meal here. Read more

I've eaten here twice, and had good experiences both times. There was a 15 minute wait at 7pm on a Saturday, which isn't bad. Large selection of ingredients to choose from, and everything seems fresh (or fresh frozen). Food was delicious, though I unintentionally made my dish spicier than I ... wanted. If you find the prices a little high (as I do), you can get more food in the same style for less money at Palatal Express, but with fewer ingredient choices.
