I came there around 9:53, I didn’t know what time they usually I saw it was closed I check online it was showing that they open at 10 am so I waited and at 10 am no one was there and I saw someone came in at 10:03 am 10:05 ... am I came myself to ask like what time will they open as it was still close he said I should wait for 5 min then I waited for him to open in other for me to place the then I came to place the order the payment machine was not working the sales person just said you have to wait for it to connect. Then he said again it’s going to take time with apologizing seems like he was not in a good mood or I was disturbing so the customer service was poor. I waiting for 15 min without getting an order since the machine was connecting so I waisted my break for nothing and I didn’t even get a formal apology. Read more
Decent price of smoothies and bubble tea vs popular chain brands. Also, ingredients might be frozen or fresh but I won't complain since some fruits might not be in season or imported from another country. Service is fast.
Have tried the chicken poke bowl, shrimp salad wraps, and bubble tea and have never been disappointed. Best sauce for salad rolls and Poke bowls I have ever had. Also love that they were able to make my bubble tea with almond milk due to being lactose intolerant.
Ordered 2 drinks from there but only tried one. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong drink. I don't think I like passion fruit very much. It was recommended to me (but they don't know my taste buds, and I only recently realized after this experience that generally there's not a lot of ... passion fruit I like). I also ordered a poke bowl. The poke bowl itself had a very nice flavor. The nice thing is, the menu is preset so you don't have to fumble around trying to figure out what exactly you want on it (or not on it). A lot of Poke places in the states I've been to, its a customized bowl, but that also takes a lot of time to figure out, and in a food court situation sometimes its easier if you don't need to think as much. My only issue was the mayo and eel sauce that was really thick... mostly the mayo. I felt uncomfortable looking at the amount that was there, but did it taste good? Yep. Just looking at it was a bit unappetizing as it was globbed on. Looking forward to trying more drinks from them to find the one I can't live without. I did get my bowl to go, which is why there was a photo of one with my dog. Hawaii Kai is located in the food court which is a bit of a problem to park at sometimes. I'm still trying to figure out the best way. I think there's indoor parking, but Im not sure about the rates. I was dropped off that day because we couldn't find parking. Read more
Tried a Fun on a Peach Smoothie, it was excellent!! You have to go and try these, very good and fairly well priced.
