The Gates on Roblin - Winnipeg, Manitoba

If you love to explore new places like I do, the Gates should be on your visit list. Right from the start there is a lot of eye candy. Statues and twinkling lights showed the gorgeous sprawling house off Beautifully. I walked slowly taking it all in...that room ... upstairs with the little balcony... YES Please! Huge glass windows on the ground floor, I could see the warmly lit interior now. Inside did not disappoint. Warm lighting, many different areas/rooms you could dine in, including more private areas upstairs (which I want to dine in next time) which were already booked. We Dined in the Sun room. You feel like you are at a friends home for Dinner. Service was professional and friendly. Everyone at our table enjoyed their Dinners very much. We had the Linguine, Winnipeg Pickerel and the Stuffed Chicken. I do recommend the Gates. It's a world onto it's own. Read more

We just got married here on June 14, 2024. The entire day and experience leading up to the day was seamless and perfect. Our main point of contact and wedding coordinator was Nadine. She is absolutely one of the most amazing and organized humans I have ever worked with. She responded ... to every single email that I sent so quickly, had suggestions for everything, and worked with us To literally planned the most perfect day. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Minimal decor and flowers were needed because the space was already so gorgeous. The catering and banquet staff and bartenders were fantastic. Every single staff member was so courteous and kind to our wedding guests, and the food was amazing. We had a guest who was recently diagnosed with colitis and can’t eat most food items and the staff worked with us to plan a perfect meal for her as well. Overall, if you are considering this space for your wedding, You would be absolutely crazy not to jump on booking your day here. They take care of everything, they go above and beyond for not only the people involved in the wedding, but all of the guest as well, and they just made us feel so unbelievably special. 1000/10 would recommend. We recently had our daughter's wedding there for about 50 people. The whole experince from the planning to the end of the wedding was amazing. Ray and his team were so kind and accommodating! The food was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who is hosting ... an event, or just going out for a nice dinner! Where do I even begin. We had our wedding here in August and I have nothing but incredible things to say about Ray, and The Gates. We originally had plans of having a larger wedding at a different venue and I am so beyond thankful I reached out to Ray. ... Right from the start Ray responded so quickly. He reminded us many times he wanted to make the process easy for us and he did exactly that and more. I had no stress or worries. Everything was so simple! I love that we didn’t have to worry about any additional things like a DJ, bartenders, alcohol, set up/take down, catering, decorating (the gardens are absolutely stunning alone), the list goes on. Ray and his staff do it all. We used the study upstairs to get ready in the morning of, and it overlooked the horse pasture… I mean come on, it felt like a fairytale!
