Have lived around the city, and must say - by far, this is THE BEST local pub and restaurant. The owners Tony and JC are always present and the friendliest people. All of the staff are amazing, seem happy with their jobs and go the extra mile for the customer. ... The drinks are well priced, the food tastes like it’s a five star fine dining dress code establishment, and there is often something fun going on in the lounge side like karaoke or trivia. 12/10, highly recommend. Excellent food and service! Owners make you feel like you are family. Highly recommend this restaurant! You wont be disappointed. Caesar dressing is homemade, lots of gluten free options,👌🏻👌🏻 fresh homemeade soups every day! Patio is also dog friendly which is awesome!!!!

Iconic old school Winnipeg restaurant in St James. Known for its ribs and prime rib (and top shelf Yorkshire pudding) but lots of other great dishes too. Including the clam chowder and beef dip. We eat here a lot and enjoy the changing features as well as the menu staples. ... Amazing value it’s no wonder it’s a favourite with older folks and families gathering for special occasions. Great food. Excellent service. Good vibes. Both French Onion Soup and Clam Chowder are exceptional! Beef ribs is a bit spicy but tastes great. Kid menu offers lots of choices, and we particularly like the pasta – a bit under-seasoned for adults, but just right for kids or toddlers. The ... creamy crab dip with crostini (forgot the official name on menu) was a bit salty, but is still fine. Overall a great dining experience. Will definitely go again. Read more
