The only reason why I'm giving a three-star instead of a five-star or a one star is because I have never actually been in this building. I’ve come to rumors many times. It’s a great place to see stand up comedy in the city. The staff are friendly. I love being able to pay your bill with a QR code at the table. Its weak spot for me is the food. The menu is very lack ... luster and some items seem oddly pricey(15 dollars for veggies and dip) . The food itself is also very subpar. I would tell anyone to go for the show and drinks but maybe eat before going. Read more

I’ve come here often for a good amount of years. They normally have really good comics. Security is a little lacklustre, and there’s occasionally hecklers. Whatever. Food is OK. you’re not there for the food anyways. I was at a show recently and I went to the washroom after it finished. I ... came back to find my waitress frantically looking for me, she said she even checked outside in the cold. I asked her why??? She told me that when people walk out without paying, the serving staff have to pay for whatever they ordered. Making your serving staff pay for bills for dine and dashes is horrible and unethical practice. I don’t want to support a place like that which imposes those kind of rules on their waitstaff. I’d happily go somewhere else if there was a better place to go, but this place kind of has a monopoly on the local scene. If i am proven wrong by the owners or this policy changes I would be happy to change my review. Until then I don’t want to support a place that treats their staff like this. Read more

We were there at a stand-up show which was great. The restaurant itself is fine - the nachos were very good, the cocktails a bit on the "thin" side. The staff was very nice and the whole event pretty well organized. There is a possibility to pay cash to servers ... or by card at main register, but there are also QR codes for online payments which was pretty cool and made the whole process pretty smooth. Great place for comedy, and very efficiently run. Buy your tickets in advance, and when you show up you don't need to fumble with tickets since they have your name and are ready to seat you. Very smooth operation for ordering drinks and food with quick friendly service. Since everyone ... leaves at the same time you can avoid the lineup to pay by scanning a code at your table and pay your bill instantly on your phone. The guest comedians are the draw, but the (usually local) host and warm up acts are always hilarious and worth the ticket price before the headliner even hits the stage. Always a delightful evening!
