I appreciate when a place has their specialty and they do it right. This is truly a “wings” place. Great hole-in-the-wall atmosphere while staying true to their food truck roots. No shortage of flavours and every bite was delicious. It has been years since I've been to little bones but I remember it tasting so good! Today I went with some friends and as soon as we entered we were greeted and even got a table right away. At first, I was intimidated by the pricing because honestly it ... was quite pricey for just wings. My friends and I each got the 14 pieces for $27 and we didn't have to wait long at all. The wings were HUGE! Bigger than other restaurants that serves wings. They also had a massive wall of unique flavors it was so hard to choose but it makes you want to come back to try them all. In the area for hockey and found this place. Don’t let the size fool you and it’s worth the wait if all 6 tables are full. We hit the fries and Mac and cheese bites. Fries were on point. The cheese bites were for the kid and good enough. Then ... the wings came. My wife is gluten free so both her and I ordered the gf friendly wings. Damn! Crispy, crunchy, so much flavor! I opted for the Bayou with a Bite and Spicy Caribbean. Both were awesome in different ways. Bayou wings were smoky, sweet, and creamy deliciousness. The Caribbean were a dry rub with a zing. The wife and kids loved theirs: Buffalo, Backyard BBQ, and Coney Island Coaster (mustard based BBQ) I’m not from the area but this will be a mandatory stop anytime we are back in the Winnipeg area. What does a good fried chicken wings need to have? A great breaded crust - Juicy fall off the bone meat - both crust and meat seasoned well and crispy crust. And its no surprise that almost all the places you go get more than one aspect wrong of it. ... Its simple and thats why is difficult to achieve. This place is exceptional and is one of those wonderful exception that gets everything right every single time, its that god damn lovely and good. From the chicken to their flavours they have cracked it and professionals should come to train here on how to make s good fried chicken wing. The most wonderful thing is that they bread their chicken wings and control what type of wings to get. They are consistent with their breading the wings and all. Probably one of the best wings I have had in Canada. If you visit Manitoba or have anyone visiting Please visit these lovely folks in Winnipeg or Brandon.
