It breaks my heart to give this a bad review. But I recently went here for some greasy hot dogs, however, after going to the washroom I really regretted my decision. It was one of the worst washrooms I have ever been in. Simply disgusting. It smelled of urine, looked ... like it hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. Had me thinking if staff didn't care about cleaning the washrooms, how do they feel about food cleanliness. Even after getting the food, the hot dogs were over cooked, they really skimped on all the toppings, and the service was poor as usual. Only received the top and bottom part of the tomato on my gyro. I went to order take out, just a gyro, I only received two pieces of tomato and they were the worst parts:( I’m highly disappointed with this, considering I had just got a gyro the night before, ... and my friend ordered a burger at the same time as me, her tomato slices were just fine. The staff knew their burgers and they were an affordable price. What the staff lack is but lack is customer service. Not sure if they are new, but when asking questions the staff would "nervously laugh" and make you not feel welcome at the restaurant. I used to enjoy myself here but lately ... it just doesn't seem welcoming. Manager/Owners, customer service goes much further when I am spending my hard earned money for my family. If you're looking for something unique to try in Winnipeg, try out Junior's Fatboy Burgers. Pair them with their delicious onion rings and poutine. Stepping into Junior's is like entering a nostalgia-filled haven. The Pac-Man and other classics arcade games, paired with the phone booth and furnitures transport you back to ... the 80s. Browsing through the reviews there are a decent number commenting on service and atmosphere, it zero issues during a 9:30pm visit on a weekday evening. Employee at the counter was knowledgeable and quick with order taking, food was made fresh and promptly, way better than expected.
