First time here didn’t really disappoint. The Summer Burger is amazing, I didn’t want to put the thing down and ate it like a prisoner. It’s like a Big Mac because it has similar ingredients, but tastes very premium. Has some relish, more dill, and a good medium spice in ... the sauce. Less messy than a Big Mac though! Also tried the breakfast juice (couldn’t remember the name) but it was refreshing and very fruity. Ice cold too. The Rhubarb jam and Goat cheese toast was also great. The jam is very sweet and smooth, and combined with the goat cheese has a hint of lemon aftertaste. I would order both of these again. Atmosphere is a 4 star because there is a bit of a wait to get a table, and the seating is a little small if you are a party of 2. I found the service to be really good and fast once you are seated. What a beautiful surprise finding this hidden gem in downtown Winnipeg. A relatively simple menu that genuinely has something for everyone. Fairly busy on an early Sunday afternoon but the wait was not all that bad. The service and food quality made up for any wait. Had a wonderful experience at Clementine this morning. Very busy spot but we were able to be seated withing about 5 mins at a table right by the kitchen so we had a nice view. Tables are shared in some cases but it adds to the charm. The server was ... quick to take our order and drinks came out shortly and they were delicious. Cool basement lunch spot. We both had the eggs Benedict. Didn’t know bacon came that thick! It was delicious. The service was pleasant. I would definitely recommend this busy cafe for a bit to eat during your lunch break or for a Sunday brunch

Clementine is immaculate. They just care. There’s nothing complicated, nothing over the top, nothing pretentious. Their food is creative but simple, and executed perfectly. When you just care about every detail about what you’re putting on the table, this is what you get. From the fantastic but simple fresh orange ... juice, to the mains and sides, to the beautifully brewed coffee, no detail is missed. I don’t go to Winnipeg without making a stop here, it’s essential.
