May/June2024 Update Review): went for a few cocktails in May and sampled the newer cocktails 1) Garden of Saturn 🪐 = AMAZING! Has passion fruit popping boba in a passion fruit shell not to mention the house made Falernum liquor. A must try. See pic. 2) Aloha Ube = also delicious ... but a little milkshakey heavy for me. Also must try. 3) Not new but far from boring Ginger pomegranate margarita. Fantastic. Bartender moustache Gen Z guy was fantastic and fixed my rookie Garden of Saturn mistake (I dumped the bobas in the drink = don’t do) and he fished them out and gave them back to enjoy! Top notch bar etiquette 😂. June dinner of pulled pork poutine, Thai stir fry with tofu and Vietnamese Cold Brew Margarita as a dessert. Excellent as usual. Original Review: Located in Sage Creek, lovely atmosphere, service, cocktails and food. Been here several times and it never disappoints. Option of sitting in dinning room, lounge side or patio (weather permitting). Think higher end Earls with better food 😝 Tried the Catus patch and Margarita and both were well mixed (fresh lime and not overly sweet). I’m particular 😂. Food was well prepared and seasoned for Thai curry and lettuce wraps. Several vegetarian options on the menu with choice to add tofu (thanks for not forgetting about us 😁. Burger was large and “meaty goodness” per my friend and poutine was also delicious and made right with curds. Must try the deep fried cheese curds! Block and Blade is an amazing restaurant! Great service and delicious food!! I really liked the beet chips and the fish tacos. The sweet potatoes fries and mayo reminded me of the Netherlands:) The block burger was super fresh. And if you’re in the mood for dessert, the brownie is a must.!They offer a ... variety of unique drinks including their famous margarita. I love this place! The waiters are always very friendly, smiling, provide professional service, take care of everything, can recommend and suggest the item on the menu that you will like☺️ The food is incredibly tasty, there are many supplements for each dish that are included in its price. Such a vibe! The gluten friendly choices were great, and more unique compared to other places in the city. I really enjoyed the mushroom appetizer. The drinks were yummy too (and strong in an epic way). Service was great and I had fun. Only little thing was the chicken breast ... was a bit bland on its own for the bites outside of the burger bun. Check it out for sure! Read more
