Bell Bottoms at Holiday Inn - Winnipeg, Manitoba

Not a great experience, but not a horrible one either. The food taste and quality is below average, but the service is very friendly. I ordered a prime rib special and they asked how I would like it done, which struck me as strange. Asked for it medium rare, and ... received it looking well done almost completely throughout. It tasted slightly off, like a steak that sat in the fridge just a little too long. My wife ordered the ribs, and they tasted nice but were a bit tough and perhaps under done. The side vegetables were swimming in a soup of butter. The whole experience reminded me of ordering dinner at a breakfast restaurant like Perkins or Pancake House, which is what Bell Bottoms is probably more suited to. Read more
