Brazen Hall Kitchen - Winnipeg, Manitoba

Stopped by for a late lunch on Sunday afternoon.  A clean, well-kept place, with a nice pub atmosphere, nice decor, and loud music.  The host was welcoming, and we were seated quickly.  Our server, Rich, was very friendly and attentive and informative of the different brews.  A good variety in ... the menu and a good selection of beers on tap brewed at the premises.  I had the Edwards Escovitch along with a flagship flight. The fish was soft and flavourful, very tasty.  The rice and vegetables were nicely seasoned and flavourful as well. This dish had just the right amount of hot, not an overpowering and lingering aftertaste. The flight included Citra Light, Blonde, Tepache, Cherry Sour, and Blueberry.  I found all of these beers to  be pleasant tasting,  the Cherry Sour being my favourite. The water served was room temperature, some ice would have been nice, and the music was a bit too loud for an afternoon.  Otherwise, with the delicious food and great service, it was a pleasant dining experience. We had an excellent meal last night. We had just driven about 15 hours from Calgary Alberta and we were starving. I made a reservation online, process was super easy. The host staff were warm and friendly and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for after a long ... day on the road. Our server was excellent. I’ve been in the industry for almost 20 years and his service was top notch. Engaging, honest, speedy and accurate. Unfortunately after our long day I’ve blanked on his name, serving across from the bar, he had a pony tail. Food and drinks were great. I took our servers recommendation on and amber ale and wine both were excellent. And the food, holy moley!!! Pretzel was hot, and soft. Definitely big enough to share. Get the double order of burnt ends! So tasty. Hubby had ribs, fall of the bone. I had fried chicken. Screaming hot and fresh. Nashville sauce on the side. It was very spicy for me. We were in town for an overnight from the states and decided to check out Brazen. We were not disappointed. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were solid and unique! For our food we ordered the fried pickles, steak sandwich, and fish tacos. The fried pickles were tasty, but the ... meals were where Brazen shone. If this could be a regular Tuesday night date spot, we totally would. The fish tacos were amazing. And the steak sandwich with parmesan parsley fries were a hit too. The chimichurri on top was 🤌🏽. We ordered the Koko Nuts margarita and a beer flight to drink. After letting our palettes acclimate, the margarita was a fun new experience. And the beers were yummy. This restaurant is an excellent choice for a fun outing with your family and friends. It offers a great combination of dining and entertainment options. You can relax in the bar area while watching your favorite sports, or gather with a large group in a dedicated space. The menu features ... delicious dishes, and there is an impressive array of beers and cocktails to choose from. Unfortunately, during my first visit, the main dish was sold out. I am from Ontario! My boyfriend brought me and his friends to Brazen Hall for dinner. If I could give more stars I would! The food was delicious (easily becoming one of my favourite restaurants in Winnipeg), the service was super fast! We got our dinner for six out ... to us within a half hour and the place was packed!
