The Sandwich Nook - Windsor, Ontario

Been awhile since we ate here. Food still good. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Only wish debit or credit was an option. Almost had to leave before we sat down because we could barely find the physical money to pay.

Great food and generous portions. Tons of choices on the menu, you may have trouble picking one!

We were visiting Windsor and looking for a place to have a quick lunch. Someone we know from Windsor recommend this place to us. It did not disappoint! My wife had a Rueben and I had a Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. My wife loved her sandwich. My burger, well, ... it was probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. The patty was fairly big, moist, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The burger should be about the meat patty and that's how it was. No overwhelming bun, sauces and veggies The serving of fries is fairly big and can be shared between two people, IMO. The service too was on point. one thing to know - they are a cash only establishment. We are from out of town and will miss this little place. Highly recommended! Read more

Great breakfast place. Homemade potatoes were mashed and then fried. Toast was fresh & delicious. Bacon could be more cooked, but other than that, everything else was great.

Excellent food, Excellent service. Nothing beats the Nook for a great breakfast or lunch. Cash only. A very popular dining experience in Tecumseh.
