Hamoudi’s Shawarma - Windsor, Ontario

Great place. Must try their Chicken shawarma and shish taouk.

Sorry for the review but I'm done paying $50 for a meal that makes me sick and can hardly feed two people (in this case it was so bad we couldn't finish it even). We went to Hamoudi's and ordered 3x Shawarmas, Fattoush salad, and grape leaves. The intention was ... that Hamoudi's would be a bit quicker. We knew the portions were smaller but we're going to head off to Art in the park. After eating the shawarma I was instantly sick to my stomach. The chicken was dry and the size was abysmal. The grape leaves are the worst I've ever had and for $9+ for x4. I feel stupid for buying them. You can pickup canned grape leaves that are better quality. The salad was a large and had an odd taste as well. If you enjoy Hamoudi's all the power to you. However if you would like a place that is prideful about their food. Do yourself a favor and just go down the street to Taystee Grill. The portion, quality, taste, and price is 100% better. Bonus is it won't make you sick. Read more

Compliments to the chef! Ordered the family platter which included: falafel, shish tawook, shawarma (beef and chicken), beef kabobs, fries, salad, hummus, rice and all the fixings! I bought food for my family on Mother’s Day which I ordered through the app the night before. It was ready on time and one of the ladies behind the counter found that we didn't receive the discount. She promptly provided me with the cash for the discount owed. The ... food was great, everyone in my family enjoyed it, and there was plenty left over for the next day.
