Food was good, but it was overpriced by $10 an plate. The gnocchi was $27. The portion was a lot smaller than other restaurants on Erie. This was the first time my girlfriend finished her entire meal. That is saying a lot! I ordered the seafood Linguine for $32. ... Again it was a very small portion with a handful pieces of seafood. For $32, I expected maybe 5 each pieces of shrimp and calamari... That's not asking for a lot! Here is the kicker, overheard the waitress give a $10 coupon to the three tables beside us for "the next time they come it" I guess we were not as an "exclusive" customer as everyone else in there. Sadly, we did not get offered a coupon. For the amount of money I paid, which by the way doesn't include salads, I would be better off going somewhere else. We both left hungry with a bill over $100. My Dad , my sister Lissy and I had a Valentine Dinner there tonight. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and seated. We were very impressed and said to ourselves "Hlope the food is great" because we already loved it there. We'll be back and back! ... Went here on a Saturday with my girlfriend, you need to call ahead of time to make reservations but luckily they had one table left. Had a delicious pasta dish as a main and my girlfriend had an equisite salad. We also both had the butternut squash soup as a ... starter. Last month we had a lovely celebration dinner for our daughter at Il Gabbiano. Thank-you so much to Joe and JohnFranco for organizing such a great dinner party.Our party of 30 people was held upstairs the atmosphere and decor was elegant with candles burning and soft music playing in the ... background.The food was fabulous, thanks to chef Shawn. Many people commented on how delicious the food was and how they would definitely be making reservations in the future!! Also thanks to our wonderful servers for the evening Adrianna and Ingrid. Our celebration was almost 4 hours and these girls kept our guests very satisfied with their prompt and friendly service.
