I ordered the chicken club and a poutine for my boyfriend thinking I was doing him a favour, come to find ye coulsnt enjoy because the food was all cold. We ordered late before close but as paying customers our food should have been at least warm! But it was ... cold. And it costed $21.50 for the regular sized poutine, sandwich, and the pop on debit with close by delivery. Read more
Don't expect super great customer service - sometimes the phone will ring and no one will answer it or workers are rude. Also, it generally takes about an hour for your food to arrive. That being said Pita Grill is a Windsor classic and the food is decent. For a pita ... place they really don't know how to wrap their pitas. They fall apart every single time. I do love the poutine though. Sometimes it's dry af but for the most part it's super tasty. Read more
Terrible customer service but the Pita was alright. The Pita was smaller than I had expected especially for the price. I barely got any meat. If I could give it a 2.5 I would. For details keep reading. I came in happy, ended up leaving not so happy, but felt slightly better ... after eating the Pita. It just wasn't a pleasant experience (nor an average one). The guy there lacks the basics of customer service. He just didn't seem like he cared about me, "the customer," or making the Pita, "the service." It took a while for him to come out of the back when I walked in. When I tried to greet him, he just kind off looked at me. He barely warmed the meat on the grill too. He seemed a little stuck up. His whole vibe, just killed my mood. I think he could tell I was progressively getting madder and started to change his attitude. The Pita tasted pretty good but I'm not nearly full. The place also looked a little dirty. I don't know if I would go back yet. Read more
I certainly have not had a bad experience at the Pita Grill. The pitas are always of above-average quality and the poutine is super good too (famous? Maybe not so much, lol). Service is as fast and as friendly as one can expect from corner-pita place. No complaints there. Prices ... are a little steep, but then, the pitas are fairly large: larger than I expected. I'd suggest it if you are looking for a wrap and need a suggestion. Read more
The only reason I went to The Pita Grill was because of its close proximity to my home. The first time I ordered from Just Eat, they prepared my food way too early (I ordered in advance) so when I got there it was cold and the staff were annoyed ... at ME. The second time, I got chicken fingers instead of chicken tenders. The third time, I went to collect my order and I got a call from Just Eat saying that The Pita Grill had cancelled my order and I would receive my money back in several business days. Other than the unprofessionalism with their ordering system (which I understand can be tricky if it's done over the Internet), their food is nothing special. The fries aren't seasoned or salted at all. The chicken tenders / fingers are just pre-packed and frozen. As for the poutine, it was OK, and I liked the mozzarella sticks and onion rings. Their prices are average. All in all, though, there are so many other good restaurants on Wyandotte that are worth your time. Don't waste it at The Pita Grill. Read more
