This location was heading downhill over the last few years and I had found it worthwhile to drive to the Walker location instead. I'd heard there was a change in ownership from a friend so I decided to give another chance and see if anything had changed, and I was ... very content with the experience. Cleaner environment and no more bothersome smoke from the Harvey's in the dining room. Faster service, food was hot and tasted more fresh. The new management team was very courteous. This was my Second time going to Swiss chalet after having bad experience, the one was in a Walker Road . My family insist to go to this location and everything was amazing. The food was delicious and the waitress were. very nice even I have to meet the ... new manager. They were very nice and everything was clean and organized. I ordered chicken . I had the worst food ever from the one on manning I waited 5 mins for the cashier then I had to wait almost 40 mins for 12 chicken wings and a baked potato for take out I got it home and everything was cold the baked potato was ... over cooked and dried out the chicken wings were cold and also dried out this is my second time going to that particular swiss chalet. My first experience was pretty much the same but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because the first time it was around 730 pm just figured it was because of the time but I now know that it wasn't oh but this time I got a free soupwhich was also cold . I will never be back to that swiss chalet . I felt bad for the manager running around trying to please all the customers that were just as upset as I was. Pros. Staff was friendly. Cons. Chicken and ribs were nice and pink throughout. Nothing better than some nice pink chicken. Mashed potatoes.. for the most part okay, except there was a spongy ball of something in it. I would have just used my bread for the potatoes, but it was moldy, not just on ... my order, but the other order had moldy bread and pink chicken also. The ribs were good.
