The food was amazing here. I feel everything was fresh The staffs were so friendly I can see the ocean from my seat. 5 stars for most things, just except the salad was so salty, It's hard for me to finish the salad. In the menu also have alot of combo that you can try ... if you go in group of 2 3 or 4. I was attracted by the combo of the group beside me. Food come in several times. Ah There are some special sushi here, I mean, special fish. I will come back for sure. Only me with 4 dishes is more than 40$. In Short: Best place for more than just fresh fish. At Kyou, they serve the Uni Hotpot, Hokkaido Style. Not only this makes this restaurant more unique than other hundred Japanese restaurants, the fresh uni that was turned into dipping broth gives a very interesting addition to the already high quality ... fresh fish served as sashimi. Every time I visited this place, the fish selections were different. The variety of fish was based on the fresh selections they had for the day. After enjoying the whole giant plate of fresh sashimi with uni hotpot, the chef would turn those beautiful decorations of lobster and shrimp shells and fish heads and bones into something memorable. If you're drinking, the chef would turn the shrimp heads into wonderful deep fried crunchy shrimp heads, making the perfect pair for the perfectly chilled Japanese beer or booze. The remainings of the fish would be transformed into the most wonderful seafood broth for one of the best soup you could ever taste in a lifetime, ending the perfect meal for the night. Fresh sashimi. Uni hotpot. Wonderful experience. The sashimi set was served with boiling uni sauce, which was later used to mix with rice and seaweed as another dish. Amazing! First of all staff very welcome, secondly food were serve fast, performance and taste amazed. Defenatly will go back and recommend. Washroom clean and well organized with all nneed. Overall this visit was 5 stars. Recommended!
