Nice down home spot to grab a fish and chips ... delicious, and the servings very generous. Might have to look for a place to sit down. Two blocks east on the same side of the street is a little pocket park where you can sit and eat.

Worst fish & chip I ever bought. Fish only had batter and super thin layer of fish. Chips was all burnt. Wasn’t even fresh and tasted as if the oil is super old. I can make better fish and chips at home. Looks like the chef doesn’t know how fish ... and chips supposed to be like. Such a waste of money. Read more

An owner who genuinely cares about customers and the food. At first, we had to wait so the deep fry oil could be changed out. How many places even do this? Thank you Fishboat! The taste of your fish (we picked cod; they also have halibut) was exceptional and the ... fries portion was generous for the 5 piece family menu item. Seating away from the sun was much appreciated and yes, we rewarded ourselves with their organic ice cream. Highly recommend this place. Read more

Our family enjoyed a wonderful lunch with courteous and fast service, even though it was clear that the shop was busy - which is always a good sign! - and the chef/hostess was responsible for all manner of things, and nearly entirely on her own. Low key restaurant that blends into the sea side streets of White Rock. Has a nice view of the waters from the street side tables. Food was between average-good. Ingredients are fresh, but lacks uniqueness when compared to other seafood restaurants in the strip. We had the Captain's Platter and ... Fish Tacos which had generous portions. Unfortunately, they ran out of mangoes for the fish tacos which they told us about soon after ordering. We'll try this place again given their reasonable prices and quality food. Read more
