I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing, bursting with flavour and the staff were attentive and friendly. I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a great dining experience. You won't be disappointed!

DO NOT GO!! Drawn to the view but very very disappointed. 1. Sat down with my partner, empty restaurant 5 staff inside ignored us. 2. Small portions with unripe or overripe produce. 3. My friend and I have been stopping at Finlay's since 2017 when it was The Watts cafe. The ladies are always very nice and deliver our food as soon as it is prepared . We love the penninis. They are full of meat and very filling. We have to accept ... the fact that prices have gone up to cover the cost of the ingredients. They can't give the food away at cost. The cafe would be out of business in no time. I don't need fancy little bits of greens and red to dress up the plate. I have never heard any other customers complain like some of the ones written here. This is our favourite place because it gives us a reason to walk the full promenade west to east. Their muffins are delicious too so sometimes I buy one to go. We can relax and enjoy the scenery. My only suggestion is that the TV is very annoying so leave it off so that patrons can have a pleasant conversation without yelling at each other over that. Read more

Came in for a latte for my morning fix while staying at the ocean promenade hotel. I got my fix but not the fancy quality latte I'm used to making at home myself. The latte was good, about on par as Starbucks. Otherwise, enough for a fix.

Lovely view of the ocean from the heated patio. Enjoyed the cranberry bran muffin with hot coffee. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
