Islands Cafe - White Rock, British Columbia

I eat at the Johnson Street location of Islands Cafe regularly. It's my favourite haunt. This morning, the staff were polite and friendly as always, and my food was delicious. If going for a coffee drink only, I would not recommend Islands Cafe. The coffee tasted watered down and the order wasn’t made how I specified. I visited on a weekday morning when the shop was not busy. Starbucks is cheaper and the service is better + faster. So, I recommend Starbucks ... over this coffee shop. It’s unfortunate because I was ready to switch to something local from Starbucks. The decor/atmosphere is nice, but, I’m not someone that hangs out inside coffee shops. What matters to me is taste, speed/convenience, price and overall service. Read more

Very authentic place on the way to the beach with a great selection of coffee. It's nice to stay inside on a rainy day. It feels like you are closer to the beach than you actually are. Lovely experience👍

Went for a brunch with my son. Island cafe you are my new favorite place. Everything is just so right, the staff, the food and most Importantly the store arrangement. We ordered the Big Kahnua Breakfast Sandwich which was just amazing. We also got Honalua breakfast sandwich which my son also ... really enjoyed. Additional note for awesome staff, I ordered iced vanilla bean, but got the hot one instead. The staff didn’t blink and gave me a new one. Read more
