Clancy’s Tea Cosy - White Rock, British Columbia

Last year we took our mom to high tea for an early mothers day, loved it so much we went back this year and will probably continue the tradition with her local daughters and granddaughters. Staff is always so friendly, food fresh, delicious and different choices. Lots of food we have ... taken stuff home both years. I was heavily pregnant last year and didn't fit into many booth so loved the regular chair/table set up. This year coming with my 10 month old having a high chair so she could be involved and I can be hands free means so much. Not having her upset in her stroller or trying to drink hot tea having her grab at everything. My sister and mom live near Surrey Central and I live on Brookswoods Langley so white rock is a nice middle ground for us. Free parking but can be hard to find if it's busy. When my daughter is older I'll be bringing her by often for little tea parties. Definitely recommend you check them out. Read more

I love high tea at Clancy’s! The service is so welcoming! The sandwiches and dessert are fresh, sassy and delicious! I had my baby shower here and have been back for a lovely lunch! 5 star experience from making the reservation to paying the bill and everything in between! The owner is SO nice & sweet! I called in last minute (even though it says to make resos at least a week in advanced) and she was able to squeeze us in on a ... Saturday. We got there & our table was all ready to go with my name on it (such a cute touch!) We were given menus of the over 50 tea choices while they made our food. Just like that, it was ready in less than 10 minutes! Such speedy service which is great coz we were starving!!! I got my usual cream of earl grey with oat milk and it was deeelicious! The food as well had a sort of Indian touch to it which was “chef’s kiss!” There was so much food that we didn’t even have enough room for the top dessert plate, so we took it to go, and off we went with the rest of our day! The sweetest ladies run this shop. Came here for a mother and daughter’s high tea date and it was perfect. Food was fresh, crisp, and delicious. There was something for everybody. Huge selection of loose leaf tea. A new favourite spot!

Came here for a lunch outing with my young daughter and we both loved this place. She kept saying how relaxing it was and how cozy she felt. We especially loved the scones, which were fresh out of the oven. And we devoured all of the savoury sandwiches. Loved the pear ... and Brie one! Didn’t have room left for the sweets, but we wrapped those up to go and finished them at home. Will be back for sure! Read more
