The Keg Steakhouse + Bar – Whistler - Whistler, British Columbia

This is one of my fave restaurants in Whistler. I have been here countless times ;birthdays, anniversaries etc. Lately, the Prime rib was not up to my expectation. Also, the glasses have finger smears on them.

I love this place! Top quality and service, awesome lounge and ambience. Have had nothing but excellent experiences and food here! Went here the other day for happy hour. Only time there was a small glitch they totally redeemed themselves and gained my respect and loyalty. Food was ... taking a little longer than expected but they took initiative and made up for it, above and beyond what I’ve experienced in many establishments. Food was amazing!! Service was great. We had sirloin and prime rib. The sirloin was full of flavor. The butter that came with the bread was an 11 out of 10. It was that good.

Fancying a steak night, we picked The Keg. We were given a table in the mezzanine, which isn’t the main restaurant so it lacks atmosphere but we were grateful to get a table. We ordered escargot and scallops wrapped in bacon to start followed by prime rib. It was cooked ... well. We chose a Zinfandel red to accompaniment this. Managed to get a table on the same day - everywhere else was booked up. The food was really good. Service was a little slow - but our server was very friendly and helpful
