The Brickworks Public House - Whistler, British Columbia

Went here when we visited Whistler. We started with some drinks - my brother ordered a gin + tonic, my husband for a beer, and I ordered a "Ladies on lunch" and we all loved our drinks - huge portions. For our starters we got bruschetta and the squid - ... they were great. For our mains we ordered the beer pan chicken (🤤🤤🤤), and the guys got bbq pork loin 🤤🤤 and they both enjoyed their meals too. For dessert, we got the cheesecake and carrot cake 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 I don't even know what to say, only that I couldn't tell which was my favorite. Absolutely a wonderful dinner. My second restaurant in Whistler Village and I can't stop raving about them. They have spring special 3 course menu for about 44 canadian dollar. I got the Humboldt squid (the star in my honest opinion), braised bison, and chocolate gateau. Cocktail was the ladies who lunch. Also ordered the ... brussel sprouts, crispy, glazed with maple bacon. Delicious overall. The staffs were personable and so refreshing. It's also nice that this is off season so we all got time to chat and enjoyed a wonderful meal in a wonderful atmosphere. Most recommended. Read more

We enjoyed a great meal with fantastic service. Decent selection of non-alcoholic beers. One in our group was thumbs up on the gin selection. Reasonable prices. Would happily return.

Everything here was excellent. Service was top notch and food was delicious with generous portion sizes. The house salad had a nice blend of sweet and savory with the apple, bacon, blue cheese, and vinaigrette complimenting each other well. The Bison was tender and flavorful. This is a great place for sharing! The Korean cauliflower was packed full of flavours and lightly battered. Mushroom risotto was delicious and the Brussels sprouts was caramelized perfectly with maple bacon. My main was the bison shortribs and came with the creamed potatoes with duck fat. I loved it ... except the sauce was on the saltier side. Everything else was just flavourful and I can’t say enough about the service. What a wonderful spot in Whistler. Read more
