I love this place! It gets very busy and serves everything from drinks, meals and dessert. It’s super casual and you can grab a quick bite or a sit down meal. Portobello is a great location. Lots of seating inside and out. The food was good. It’s not the clearest on the ordering process. The guys working the kitchen. Work hard but food takes a bit of time. It’s worth it. In our first visit we tried the chicken pot pie and ... the poutine topped with brisket. The pot pie had a great topper of puff pastry and the gravy/sauce had great flavor. Not traditional but good. The poutine with brisket was a huge portion. It was roasted red potatoes and not fries. The brisket was good. Tender with nice crispy, charred bits. Quite a filling meal after hours of hiking. Second visit we both did sandwiches. The roast turkey BLT was quite tasty. I love the cranberry bread it was served on. The slaw was tangy and sweet. The pickle on the side was one of the best pickles. So good! The staff is all friendly. Seems like they could use more help but everyone was friendly and helpful. Read more

Food taste is not good, order rotisserie chicken, no taste, very oily, bread is so dry. another order is Beef Chili's, unfortunately also not good, but bit better than the chicken one. Great choice for tender, flavorful meat. This place hits the spot after some mountain runs. I visited during lunch and dinner on separate days and was satisfied on both visits. The portions are filling and cooked well. The food is prepared within 5 minutes. Remember to grab your drink from the ... refrigerators near the entrance before you check out. The facility is clean and tidy; the restrooms look well-maintained. The staff is nice and helpful. Takes AMEX. Overall a great experience. Read more
