Pleasant Dining Experience with Balanced Flavors. Had a good experience at Sushi Village Japanese Restaurant. Went with my friends and opted for the 3-course menu priced at around $30. 🥐☕ Food: ✨Taste: Miso soup: Very flavorful and served at the right temperature. Gyoza: Tasty with good temperature too. Spinach Gomae: Very tasty with a well-balanced sweetness. Beautiful ... Roll (sushi): Decent, but the rice didn't feel fresh or chilled. ✨ Presentation: Nicely presented dishes. 🤵‍♀️🤵 Service: Good overall, though due to high demand, it was sometimes challenging to get assistance from the waitress. ✨ 🍽️ Infrastructure: Beautiful and well-proportioned. ✨ Overall, it was a pleasant experience with balanced flavors and attentive service, despite the aforementioned points. Sushi Village is SO FREAKING GOOD, we went back twice during our week we were in Whistler. This is a MUST visit. The menu, the servers, the atmosphere - so wonderful. We had the special with 4 different food options and the second day had sushi and the spicy baked ... tofu. So unbelievably delicious! Read more

Rolls were tasty and came out quick. We were put on a wait list and got a table much faster than we expected. Didn't taste any alcohol in the Strawberry margarita.

On a weekend expect to wait an hour or two on the dinner waitlist. You can only get on the waitlist in-person. The restaurant fills up quick after 6pm Lots of experimental sushi options here (house specials), like the KFC roll. Prices are quite high for what you get but that’s just ... the whistler tax. A Whistler Institution... for a reason! I read about this place with some healthy scepticism, but now having been there I cannot recommend it highly enough. Great food, friendly service, buzzing atmosphere. A side note; although they do not take bookings for fewer than 6 people, you can go on a ... wait list and they'll text when your table is about to become available, so if you want to go at a busy time, just drop by ahead of time... and go have a drink or whatever.
