Trattoria Di Umberto - Whistler, British Columbia

I'll HAVE SOME WINE WITH TRATT... My hubby & I go to Whistler several times a year; the Trattoria reservation is a priority before we hit the road. With the exception of arriving when they crack open the door...the reservation most likely will be required. We prefer the bar top ... kitchen prep / seating/ view. I don't eat pork so the menu works well for me, as there is a lot of variety without it. The food for us, has never really disappointed; which is why we go back again & again. The dishes are light -- tasty- rich and they use fresh ingredients; the portions are perfectly sized (not too big & not too small.) My hubby's fave is the tortellini all panna and mine is the warm spinach prawn salad in a lemon cream sauce- also the beef carpaccio is thee BEST. Yum!!! Read more

Probably my favourite restaurant in Whistler. Food is incredible, so many choices of pastas and proteins. Excellent choices of wines to pair with any meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel at home every visit. This is definitely a must visit!

Always a good dinner here. A Whistler staple but make a reservation well in advance! Great pastas and fantastic lamb.

Had the three course menu, the portions were very generous and the whole meal well priced. The avocado and crab salad was velvety and delicious. The veal perfectly cooked! Service was friendly and attentive, it made for a great evening. I will certainly return.
