McDonald’s - Whistler, British Columbia

This McDonald’s is not very accessible for those with mobility issues. There are stairs to go up to the entrance and there wasn’t any buttons to press for the door to automatically open up. I ordered the muffin, which they had to make and wasn’t available beforehand. The cranberry orange muffin ... didn’t have a single cranberry inside and it was too late to tell them by the time I got through the muffin halfway. As a long time clients , i found it very crooked that the ownership decided to not give any “special item” unless you have the app . McDonald should give there clients the option of having any special with or without the app . What about homeless people ? ... What about ordinary people that doesn’t want an expensive smart phone ? The other day , after seeing a sign that says …1 dollars summer drink special , I end up ordering it and been charged full price even if the sign never said that the app was needed . Nothing beats a McDonald in a town of tourist-trap restaurant prices. No spectacular food here, but enough to fill you up for cheap. Great place to be when you still aren't full after eating a meal at one of the "fancy" restaurants in Whistler.

Pretty busy McDonald which understandable for family day weekend.
