Loved the cozy atmosphere if the place and the dedication of the staff to their food and service! Food was great! My favourites were mushroom with cornbread, and duck breast and beef stew!
Service was great to start but fell short. The food was all around excellent. Had Sean as the server whom many rave about. Excellent personality, knows what to say but he got really busy with other tables, other tables with more people than our two. We ... got our mains, the Lingcod and the Bouillabaisse, from someone and Sean never made it back to tell us about what we were eating or even how the first bites were. I do have to say order the Bouillabaisse, it is amazing. I just don't like putting down over $200 on dinner and the service falls short. My tepid tip should be spent at the restaurant on Whistler Road for some service pointers. Read more
Service was friendly and food was good. To start, we had the duck confit spring rolls and the scallops. Both dishes offered a unique combo of flavours that worked really well together. For our mains we had the wild boar and the duck breast. The portion for these entrees were decent ... but i’m not quite sure if it justifies the price. While the duck was tender and juicy, I found the boar to be a bit dry. Overall, we did enjoy our meal, however there was nothing exceptional about the food and our experience. Read more
The food is very fresh and tastes amazing. Our server was super sweet and friendly. It's hard to book, so make sure you make a reservation early. My favourite item has to be the succulent duck spring rolls. The pork with chutney sauce is also very flavourful (sweet and ... salty). There is indoor and outdoor seating at this restaurant.
