Reviews for Milestones in Whistler, British Columbia
The food was not great. The only things that was good were the chicken wings. Everything else looked tossed together with less than fresh ingredients. Presentation was awful. The service was also lacking. The place was not busy, but our server still mixed our appetizer ... order and forgot my drink. Kept looking for him to come back so I could remind him but he just was no where to be seen for long periods of time. The place looked like it needed a good cleaning. The windows were all dirty and the surfaces around were dusty. The floor also looked like it had not been cleaned for a few days. Would not recommend and will not be going back. I feel bad because the staff seemed like good people but they just don't have good leadership to help train them and manage them to do a better job. If I was the owner, I would hire a new manager that has good leadership skills. Read more
We stopped by there for a quick bite after skiing. We visited Thursday 3pm, regular werkday not during holidays The gondola and lifts are done around 3 pm. There were a few customers, not many. We got a table without waiting. We had 3 plates, tacos, chicken bites, a burger, a glass of ... old fashion and belini from their happy hour menu. It was about $65 before tip. Little expensive side for happy hour, but their atmosphere, severes are dressed all black, nice also their service were good. I wouldn't mind spending once for a while occasion. My boyfriend and I were stuffed. We even took food home because we couldn't finish it. I like it they made fish of the tacos and French fries crispy. Their cocktails are beautifully presented, so that kinda perfect compliment for our occasion/ birthday trip. I would love to try their other menu, Cauliflower, since I overheard servers are blogging about, but unfortunately, we were too full to try. Maybe next time when we visit. Read more
** They no longer accept Milestones gift cards at the Whistler location. Something about new ownership!? ** If we had known this ahead of time we would have gone to a different restaurant! Also the menu was small and lacked selection! The service was really good but the food was just ... okay. Read more
Dinner for 4 diners was "good". The Baja fish tacos were tasty and plentiful , I only wished the fish was not fried and battered like a fish stick. The mushroom soup was very salty and devoid of a fresh mushroom flavour. Sweet potato chips were cooked well and quite ... flavourful. Side salads were quite tasty and satisfying. Service was efficient and friendly. This is not a five star restaurant and this should not be a surprise to anyone. The menu was not very comprehensive and mainly had pub type foods. Read more
Out of all the restaurants I went to in Whistler, this was the one I would least want to go back to. The service was ok but the food selection was small and pricey, and the food I got wasn’t great. I tried the spinach dip which was basic, but ... the chips they served it with were grainy, and I had better poutine everywhere else I went. Would not go back here again Read more
