Great food, great portion sizes. Friendly service. Good live music. I love how you order and pay up front so you don't have that awful waste of time at the end of your meal when you just want to pay and leave. Came here after a long day of skiing. Nice location right at the base of blackcomb. There were no servers, we had to walk up to the bar and order food and drink. Then they brought the food to you. A little different experience. Your not allowed to use your ... Whistler/Blackcomb discount card here. So the 20% discount on resort food is not applicable here, eventhou the restaurant is owned by Vail. We order the Butter Chicken Poutine ($23) and BGB salad Bowl with added chicken ($26) which were nice sized well portions. The poutine came with curly fries. Apres ski hot spot. Friday nights the Hairfarmers are a huge hit. Drinks are good and they keep them flowing. Great crowd pretty much every afternoon.

Merlin's is an iconic Blackcomb ski bar! We went here on Christmas day and it was so fun! We got the nachos which is huge!!! I unfortunately forgot to get a picture but it was so good! The bartenders are so friendly and fun. We had a wonderful time and I ... would highly recommend stopping here! Edit: Went back and got the nachos again! Got pictures this time, lol! Pretty good spot for lunch. After a full morning of biking, my group and I rolled up to the nice patio and enjoyed lunch. We were able to leave our bikes next to the railing to keep an eye on it. The patio is very large and most tables ... have umbrellas. It was nice to seat ourselves and go inside to order at the bar. The food came out quickly and was hot. I ordered the chicken souvlaki w/side of fries and my husband ordered the lam kofta bowl. The bowl seemed a little small but ended up being filling. My fries were delicious and a large serving, so easy to share with my husband. Read more
