Steak and Stout was a great lunch.
The pies are great, but I chose to eat in and waited almost 40 minutes for my pie. Perhaps the person was new. My review is for my experience--the pies get 5 stars.
I've only been once to buy meat pies but I was immediately struck by the variety of hard to find and imported treats. The meat pies were excellent and so was the service. Be sure to get there early if you are counting on buying a certain type of pie ... because everything is made fresh and are sometimes in limited quantities. Read more
Real friendly people, and the pot pies are absolutely unreal. My Father used to bring them home all the time, and ever since I moved to the GTA I haven't had them in years. I stopped in two weeks ago and loaded up (you can freeze them too). Just ... as good as I remembered! Read more
