Ye’s Sushi Japanese Restaurant - Waterloo, Ontario

Well, we tried this restaurant after giving up on sushi star due to not being open Mon-Wed, ridiculous 🙄 Will not be coming back. The food lacks flavor and freshness. The rice to fish ratio is off. Went here for lunch buffet on a Sunday. Overall great experience, atmosphere, and wide selection of items on menu. Especially loved the cheese wontons, ice cream, eel sushi, and dragon roll. Fantastic place. It's comparable to places that charge almost double the price. They have a pretty extensive AYCE menu and almost all of the items we ordered were excellent. Their custom Waterloo roll was surprisingly one of their best items. Considering the cost/quality ratio, this is probably the #1 AYCE ... sushi place in the tri-cities area for me right now. Read more
