******* NEW MANAGEMENT ******* The beloved Mr.Sushi has gone through a overhaul on design and food. Price: to get a good amount of food, you would need to spend $15+ (besides the ramen because of the vegetable fillers). The rolls were all 10 pieces around $12-$15 o generally it has gotten more ... expensive. Food We ordered Ramen Combo D, which included 2 ramens and an Orange Dragon Roll for $30. Side dishes Pickled cucumber, turnip, and carrot were served as a side dish. They were cold. They were okay. I think if you order ramen, that's what you get as a side dish. If you order a Korean dish, you get the typical kimchi, potato and fish cake ordeal (but don't quote me). Orange Dragon Roll Taste: 7/10, the roll was huge with 10 pieces. But this sushi roll was overkill with the other flavours, couldn't really taste the salmon flavours. Quality: 8.5/10, the ingredients were fresh but just stuffed inside the roll, which really overpowered the taste of the of salmon. Ramen (we ordered #4, spicy broth and #7, pork and beef broth) Taste: 6/10. The broth wasn't rich, a lot of vegetables which acted as fillers, noodles were soft, pork was extremely dry and hard to chew. Quality: 6/10. There was a lot of food, especially seafood. Surprisingly there was an abundance of mussels, large shrimp and octopus rings; didn't really contribute to the taste though. New management! Clean, good food, good service, and open late!! Went here for early dinner around 5pm on Friday, and was pretty busy. Fresh fish and tasty rolls. Loved the Fire Mountain Roll. Liked the ramen too. Not too greasy and good depth in the soup. HOT sake with my ... meal, and overall a satisfying experience with Mr. Sushi under new management.
