Vivo Pizza + Pasta - Waterloo, Ontario

Went with a bunch of friends and ordered several things from the menu. The food was fantastic and the service was on point, especially for the size of group. Will definitely be going back! @doubledippindeb

Did a random stop as we were driving by. What a pleasant surprise!! The atmosphere was really nice and open! The staff were friendly and efficient. We had the calamari and shrimp... By far the best calamari I've had in years! We also had some pasta with egg in it.. also ... very very good! Cooked to perfection. This is it. If you've never been to Italy and had real Italian soup, salad, pasta and especially pizza, come here and treat yourself to a delicious, simple meal, full of flavor and joy. About that pizza. It's a perfect thin crust topped with San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh ingredients that ... are not weighing the pizza down once it hits that woodfire oven, and comes out a few minutes later perfectly charred at the bottom, smelling and tasting like heaven. Some people might dislike the portion sizes, or how "few" toppings come on a pizza, but this is typical for Mediterranean cuisine, where quality over quantity is always the case. Good option for a quick casual fast meal. Found $15/pizza (before tax and tips) a bit overpriced. No liquor license. Easy parking. Clean and bright place.

Not really worth the money. Better to spend a couple dollars more and get Famoso. Margarita pizza had two pieces of basil, looks.more like a cheese only pizza. The Vivo pizza was ok, but lacked depth of flavour.
