Sweet Dreams Teashop - Waterloo, Ontario

I recently visited Sweet Dreams Teashop with my kids, and it was an amazing visit in every regard. My kids were so excited to try bingsu and between the three of us we couldn't finish it! It was delicious and we were able to bring home the leftovers. I also ... purchased the icy swirl taro bubble tea with tapioca pearls and it was classic, very tasty. The best part however was the service. The staff seemed genuinely happy to have my 4 and 6 year old there, were very sweet and kind, and would smile and laugh at their excitement and antics, happy to see the satisfied and chocolate filled faces of my children. They even brought over a special treat for them, where my daughter chose a rainbow unicorn sticker and my son chose a rainbow eraser. Thank you for a great experience and we will definitely be back! What a cute little spot! Love the atmosphere to relax with a cup of tea. Lots of tea options. I went with a hot herbal tea since I’m feeling under the weather. The tea is loose and I was able to get ginger with squeeze of lemon. Very delicious pure ginger pieces and ... just what I needed to boost my immune system. This is such a cute little shop and the atmosphere is amazing. We got a large taro milk tea and it was super tasty! The drink wasn't grainy or bitter like some other bubble tea shops. The store had lots of adorable trinkets and toys everywhere and also sold mystery ... bags for $30. I bought a bag and it was very worth it and I would definitely buy another one in the future. This is a great shop and I would recommend it to anyone who likes boba or cute things. The store also had food on their menu and I didn't try any but I will come back again and try other menu items. The place has the best Bubble Tea in Waterloo area! The folks who work here are so sweet and a ball of happy energy. I have tried their bubble tea multiple times and it’s always great. They also have little desserts which are great. I’ve never tried their sandwiches here though. ... They no longer have a dining area so it’s takeout only. The pricing is very nominal. The store also houses a variety of items - board games/ toys and stuff from other local businesses depending on the time of the year. I’ve gotten some lovely finds here! It’s a great way to support local businesses. Definitely must visit to grab a beverage at least. Read more
