My mother, sister, and I were the first customers in the restaurant then 3 (asian) men came 10min later. They said the waiter wasn't there yet. Anyways, they took thheir order and received their food. Meanwhile, they haven't taken our order yet. The waiter was late and still had his ... jacket on when he decided to come. Got the Hakka Chilli Chicken lunch special, I either got the wrong order or they don't know how to make Chilli Chicken. The chicken was soft and was covered in a sauce that was much closer to orange chicken. The restaurant was empty so there's really no excuse. Will ... not go back. Read more

Really bad service The foodhwy always has bad customer service, especially the long waiting time. They promised that they would deliver as soon as possible, if the customers wait for over one hour, customers would not need to pay for the deliver fee, and have the money back for all the ... dishes if they wait for more than two hours. However, many customers did not get any cash back or remedies from them when they face these situations. And when the customers get the wrong dish from the Uni Wok, the customer service just said that they would contact the customers if they got the responses from restaurants, and only left the customers long waiting time.... Interesting... And the customers contact the services department for several times, instead of being called by them... And almost all the customers did not get any coupons from them-...... I went here once a year. I think the quality is dropping over time but the price is cheap with the All day lunch specials. The tables are dirty. You can feel its quite sticky on the surface. The service was usually pretty ok, but the last time I went there ... was so bad! The waitress didn't clean the table right the customer leave, didn't give me water and spring roll sauce before I asked. The waitress was so into playing games and didn't pay attention to the customer. They also opened the door on a hot summer day, which made the bugs came inside. Pretty much disgusting. Read more

I went here about 4 years ago so I thought I'd give it another try. Place looks better than I remember, so there's a plus. The food here is decently priced and the service is good, keeping in mind it wasn't busy. Everything came really quickly but that was also concerning as ... it probably means the food wasn't fresh. The lemon chicken was battered nicely but was lacking flavour. It needed a bit more of the "lemon" flavour and it would have been so much better. I did bite into one small piece that had a freezer burn taste. The Hakka chilli fish was a bit too spicy for my taste so that's not really anything bad on the restaurant's part, but it did feel as though the fish was old. The beef chow min was probably the best dish of the 3, but was lacking beef. There were maybe 5-7 actual pieces of beef which was pretty disappointing if you look at the picture I attached. Probably wouldn't come back as there are other places nearby that have better food for around the same price. Read more
